I need to pick my next book to read.  I just finished The Unicorn Road (excellent), Crooked Little Vein (incredibly lame) and Woken Furies (awesome).

My current options are  Thirteen, Anansi Boys, Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Children of God, The Lark’s Lament or The Catalans.  I have excellent reccomendations on the last two.  The Marquez one is surely good.  I’m sure I’ll probably pick one by the time any of you read this, but let’s talk about books anyway.
