Many of the local costumers I know actually recommend the paper-tape method on that same website, because it won’t leave the same skanky residue on your straight pins that the duct tape will. But yeah, if I did more sewing, I would TOTALLY be making myself one of these.

I can see the advantages of paper tape, but I have duct tape and no paper tape, and I think we’re going to foam insulation fill instead of fiberfill, so I think the duct tape will work better. I suspect there will be a second attempt in the future so maybe I’ll go for paper then. 🙂
