For lunch I went to a store that sold nothing but doll houses and dollhouse miniatures. TINY TINY TINY things.  It was made of joy. I have no doll house, but I do have need of tiny tiny things.  I will tell you once I've completed the project. But in the meantime, is there anything better than tiny tiny things?

Grabbed from my girl, daft:

Please share something you think I should do or try to do in 2008. Big or small, silly or earth-changing.

  1. ::selfishly:: come see meeeee!erm. also, hmm. give away one possession a month for the whole year.

  2. i like tiny things. however i hate packing them when i move. so i don't have any.
hmmm this year you should try to buy more from local business than you do from chains 🙂

  3. That's cool. I have three new little "action figures" that I got for Christmas – and I want to make some scenes with them. Now I wish I'd kept all those miniature cereal boxes and stuff I had when I was a kid.

  4. The one thing I've learned so far in my little foray into miniatures is that most of isn't so hard to make. Really, you can make little cereal boxes with a decent printer, and tons of other stuff with a little bake clay.

  5. That's a good one! Yes, I was already thinking a little along those lines.

  6. Both good ones! Both I will do!!!Actually I give so much stuff away as it is, the second one won't be hard at all. Unless books don't count…

  7. Oh, that's a good idea. I'll have to try that.

  8. Personally, I try to do something that I never imagined myself doing, and/or am uncertain if I'll like. Shakes things up a bit and reminds me to stay open-minded. Of course, you were probably looking for more concrete suggestions…

  9. Well, to some extent, my entire life is a never ending series of things I never imagined myself doing, so I'm not sure that works for me! 🙂

  10. Ah, true. You have made some major changes of late. I was thinking more in the line of "go skydiving" or "eat jellyfish." That sort of thing.
