I’ve been one for sorrow for too long

We had lovely days of sun, but we are in a holding pattern of grey and pouring rain or driving wind. Alas it means I’m not listening to cheery summer music I’d like. I have to save it for actually sunny weather, lest it loose it’s sunny associations.

Seattle people, what should I pack? Jeans and sweaters? Jeans and t-shirts? Skirts, boots and sweaters? How’s the weather? Pouring? Or just the usual mid 40s-50s springy dampness?

I had some other things to say but they are lost in the increasingly huge to-do list building up in my head.

  1. Well, you’ll need a jacket. It’s cool. Drizzly, so not sandals. (We had hail this morning on the Eastside)

  2. I expected as much. Alas, I was hoping for some surpise spring days. Maybe I’ll still get lucky? 🙂

  3. It’s gorgeously sunny in Tacoma today but it was pouring yesterday so who the hell knows. I’d say jeans and t-shirts and a jacket 🙂

  4. I hope I get at least one sunny day while I’m there!

  5. I am freezing my fucking ass off today. COLD!

Hey, do you have room in ze car for one more for the drive up to the place? If not, no worries. Will I get to see you otherwise? *frowns in consternation*

  6. I’m actually going up with my parents, so I don’t know if there’s room.

I do, thus far, have monday entirely free, and might be able to wrangle one of the cars to meet for lunch or something. This is sort of a whirlwind trip.

  7. LOVE the Jeffrey Foucalt! Thanks for sharing.

Hope you’re having a good time in Seattle. We had a fabulous Spring day today–does that mean you just left?
