Author of the Queen City Boys books

My computer is ailing with the evil power cord problem of doom. It seems okay as long as I don’t move it at all, which since it’s a laptop is kind of problematic. My mom has graciously loaned me her’s until I can afford to get mine fixed (and keep your fingers crossed that it’s fixable). I love the loaner computer, even though it was clearly made for small fairytale characters:

Here it is, sitting atop my normal sized laptop

Weirdly the keyboard is pretty decent, except the backspace is in the “wrong” place and I keeping hitting something mysterious which causes the cursor to move up and over a few lines while I’m in the midst of typing. Also touch pad with no scrolly thing makes me whiny.

I took a few pictures of the sky yesterday, here, here, and here. Un-re-touched and pretty cool looking, I think.

  1. Is that smaller than a 12″?

  2. Aw! What a cute little computer!

  3. It’s like it hasn’t grown up yet. Cute, but a little awkward!

  4. I THOUGHT it looked even smaller than my mini-mac. I mean. It’s almost pocket sized!

  5. I’m reminded of the trip took to the bar with me last month, when I asked the bartender for a Corona for him and was handed the one and only Coronita they had in the entire bar…. Clearly, it shrank in the wash.

  6. It’s so wee! **pinches it’s tiny cheeks** 😀 I wouldn’t be able to use it, as I have Giant Drag Queen Hands of Doooom. There would be a lot of involuntary keyboard smashing!
