Flying into somewhere during sunset is totally worth it for descending through fairy-tale layers of pink, lavender and indigo clouds. Also flying over the Mississippi when it’s clear enough to see it is pretty spectacular. The last part of the flight there was this weird moving light on the ground that kept dissapearing and reappearing and finally I realized it was the reflection of the moon traveling over puddles, ponds, streams and rivers. It was really cool.
So, yes, I’m back in Nashville. I’m tired. I’d like to sleep in cave, cut off from everything for about 48 hours just to recover not just from traveling but from so many days of non-stop socializing. I’m very much looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.
I want to write up my whole trip for posterity, but I feel to wasted to do it right now. Hopefully I’ll get to it sometime.

Miss you already.
Another book rec for you and your new lace fetish? Victorian Lace Today. Some seriously cool stuff in there! However, with all knitting books, make sure you check the publisher’s site for errata before begining any project. I learned this the hard way with a couple of Interweave books, dammit.
