You’d think I had nothing better to at my parent’s house than post pictures of myself. Not completely true, but I got my hair cut and colored today, so of course pictures. The color is, uh, well I don’t hate it, I might even like it, but the colorist and I sure were not communicating at all. I don’t know how long I’ll keep it, I think too much of my identity might be tied up in being blond for me to keep it very long.
It’s also about three inches shorter, which is okay, I guess, since hair grows. Um, yeah, I don’t hate it, I know it looks good, I’m just not sure how much it looks like me.

Man, I wish you were here now. Virgil from Suburban Home Records invited us to go to dinner with them before the show tonight (we passed because my husband is a big old stick in the mud, but I know you wouldn’t let me down!) and then meeting up with them in a couple hours for the Drag show. I can’t wait!

I think it’s the kind of thing where it takes about a week or so to decide if it’s you.
Cause, yeah, it’s adorable, but it’s also Different, somewhat emphatically so.

Sassy! I like it. When I went back to my natural color, it took awhile to get used to it. But it grew on me after a while. Maybe if you shave your initals in the back or something, it will be more you. 😉
