Made it to Seattle without incident, lightly delayed but no big deal. Was dead tired, recovered with mom-made smoked salmon and pesto sandwiches and Starbuck’s peppermint mochas and a nice hot shower and then it was off to my aunts’ and am now exhausted all over again. Tomorrow I have to make a cheesecake with my sister, make a potato pancakes and pork tenderloin stuffed with…something, shop, see a movie, visit with family friends and wrap presents. Um, probably not in that order. Now I sleep.
