The seasons come the seasons go/We get a little sunshine, rain and snow

I was going through some files, moving stuff around on my computer and I discovered that I have in fact documented all the seasons I’ve been in Tennessee. At least as they look in my yard, which isn’t very representative, but it’s what I got. I really should take more pictures, but I always forget when I’m out, even when I have my camera with me. Anyway, my yard in three season:

Summer lovin’, had me a blast!

  1. Neat how in the summer it looks like your yard backs on thick woods with no one for miles. Winter reveals the truth…

  2. I know! I loved the sense of being in the middle of nowhere even when I know there’s houses just right there. It’s so weird to see cars driving the street behind the trees at night.

  3. The backyard of our apartment is the same way. My roommate said to me one day after the leaves had gone: “You know, I could not figure out for the life of me what those lights in our backyard were. Aliens? Then I realized we could see the car lights on the street again.”
