I’m sitting in the living room at nearly 3 am eating a popsicle. It’s not even hot. In fact it’s nearly chilly in here. I can’t sleep. I kept hearing this sound like someone was walking around the house. I laid in bed and listened to the entirety of Red Headed Stranger on head phones and still wide awake and hearing weird noises from the living room. So I got up and… nothing. It’s the A/C or the house settling or something. Surely this popsicle will calm me into sleeping, right? *sigh* Damn it.
I saw a huge stick bug walking on my back porch railing today. It looked just like the one Mr. Blakeney had in Master and Commmander.
I guess I could do some writing or something, since I’m awake. WAH. I want to be asleep.

Awwww, poor baby. *hugs you*
Mmm, tea? And a good book, nothing scary. You’ll be asleep in no time.
Where’s K?

K’s asleep. Good books keep me awake. Tea is too loud to make and I don’t know if I even have any that isn’t caffeinated.
IT SUCKS TO BE ME! Seriously, it’s making me all whiny. I should have some music to make me fall asleep, but I can’t even guess what it is right now.

Ugh. I’m awake figuring out whether planets are besieged, in Peregrine or other crap I don’t know how to interpret in my natal chart. And watching tWW. Because I can’t sleep either.
I should send you some Somnus from BPAL. It’s helpful for these nights where there is no asleepy, and a shit ton of frustration.
::vibes sleepy beams your way::

It’s too bad the wine is gone. Classical piano always works for me, just loud enough that I don’t have to strain to hear it, because if I do have to then that keeps me awake.
Non-fiction research book for a novel? Milk and cookies!

Boo! I didn’t sleep well, either. It must’ve been one of those nights.

Yes, house settling. That’s what I told myself as I fell asleep every night wearing headphones too.
